So, Who Am I?
From the most talkative person in the class, a tech geek at school, a creative guy in my college my life has been a lot of fun. An average kid from a small city in South India now a Photographer, a career which is often not considered for a full time job. I feel like I am definitely blessed (a lot) and lucky to have the support of my parents, my sister and my brother-in-law with my journey so far.
How did this all happen?
To make the long story short, it was when I got my Nikon Coolpix P80 in 2009 and went on a trip to some of the well known tourist places in North India (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur). It was during this trip I was able to create some beautiful pictures and which was eventually presented in an inter-college competition at my university and got me the 1st runner up among 50+ competitors. This was my first encouragement to get on with my photography passion and intrigued me to learn more and more each day. Down the road I started following works of some of the best and well known photographers around the world like Zack Arias, Chase Jarvis, Joe McNally, The Strobist (David Hobby) to name a few who kept inspiring me and gave me the courage to play and have fun while capturing some beautiful moments. Of course I can’t thank enough the numerous blogs I followed (still do) to learn so many techniques which made me what I am today. Apart from doing my under graduation, photography became something more than a hobby and of course I had to learn a trick or two with Photoshop which was the perfect icing on the cake for the tech geek in me. Most of the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro became my playing field during my free time, expanding my skill set across various fields of creative design like graphic, print, production and web.
So, here I am now trying to pass on my inspiration and things that I learnt during my journey so far and the million journeys am yet to embark on. This will be one place I will share all experiences with you, my readers and fellow creative heads. And I have made a promise to myself to keep this website alive and add more fun stuff to inspire the world. I sincerely hope that I do my best.
